About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity to join a company with ambitious expansion plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong property management experience, an exceptional customer service ethic, and leadership skills to oversee and develop the Midlands portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the letting, management, and customer service operations across the Midlands portfolio.
  • Achieve or exceed portfolio financial targets, managing rent income and budget expenditure.
  • Oversee the transition and integration of new property acquisitions.
  • Maintain high standards for property appearance, presentation, and brand consistency.
  • Develop, manage, and motivate ambassadors and agents to achieve letting and financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, industry, and best practice standards.
  • Strengthen adherence to operational processes and standards.
  • Organize and oversee the annual tenant handover process each summer.
  • Support the implementation of new digital business processes.
  • Lead performance improvement projects and handle escalated issues and complaints.
  • Research, monitor, and report on market trends in current and target cities.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • ARLA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in budget management.
  • Track record of providing excellent customer service, from inquiry through tenancy end.
  • Ability to manage a high workload and multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and IT skills.
  • Background in HMO or student housing is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work 5 weekends per year during peak periods (with days back in lieu).
