Your new companyHays Business Support is seeking a Receptionist/Administrator in Leicester City Centre on a temporary basis 4 days per week up until January to start ASAP, with the potential to go permanent. Our client is providing healthcare services for vulnerable people. Daily they work with asylum seekers, the homeless, and other marginalised people. They are looking for an experienced administrator with great interpersonal skills.Your new roleThe purpose of this multi-skilled role is to undertake a wide range of administrative duties as well as face-to-face and telephone interactions with patients and visitors, in a busy administration office and reception area. Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering the telephone quickly and professionally
  • Booking appointments
  • Dealing with patient queries
  • Ordering prescriptions
  • Dealing with external agencies
  • Scanning letters and filing them onto SystmOne
  • Registering patients on SystmOne
  • Using templates to enter data on SystmOne
  • Using tasks to relay information to the team

Working hours would be:Monday-7.45am-3.45pmTuesday 7.45am-4.45pmThursday-9.30am-5.00pmFriday-7.45am-4.00pmWhat you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will need to be a competent user of Excel and Word, have the ability to organise your own workload with direction and be able to take instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
