We are delighted to be retained by a prominent manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced, talented and enthusiastic Group Product Manager, to lead on the development of new products and the management of existing manufactured products.

Description
- Responsibility for the continuous development of the Workplace Storage Solutions product line
- Design and implement product strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and launch new products.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Preparation of functional and requirement specifications for new product developments and enhancements.
- Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage product-related projects and monitor their progress.
- Provide training and support to team members.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Evaluate promotional plans with our marketing team to ensure they are consistent with product strategy
- Conduct annual pricing reviews and ongoing margin analysis.
- UK team lead (line report) for UK R&D employees and members of the UK Product Data Team.
- Represent the company at customers and trade shows to gain feedback on company products and services.
- Regular travel to UK Sites and across Europe
Profile
A successful Group Product Manager should have:
- A strong educational background in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management within the B2B Manufacturing/Industrial sector.
- Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of market research methods and data analysis.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Experience of translating brand and customer insight into product and service requirements.
- Strong financial acumen including understanding of pricing and residual value management and able to manage regional requirements and relationships.
