My client are a leading manufacturer looking for a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join the team and enhance their maintenance operations. Duties include:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance plans, prioritize work orders, and ensure schedules are met and daily/weekly/monthly planned maintenance activities have been scheduled. Also responsible for planning maintenance shutdown periods.
  • CMMS Management: Maintain the CMMS system, asset register, and ensure data accuracy. Reporting all Engineering KPI's and life cycle costs of assets.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Stores Management: Set up and effective operation of maintenance stores, ordering and maintaining spare part stocks and expediting shortages or emergency needs.
  • Coordination: Liaise with production and engineering, chair weekly planning meetings to align schedules. Assist in the management of contractors on site and to help support with Method statements and risk assessments.

Requirements for the Maintenance Coordinator:

  • Must have a qualification within a subject of Engineering
  • Experienced with managing CMMS systems
  • Manufacturing background
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
