SALES ENGINEER - Cutting Tools OEMUK COVERING ROLE (Flexible Location)upto £65k D.O.E, uncapped comms fantastic corporate benefitsMy client are a global Cutting Tool manufacturer who supply world class products for multiple sectors but a strong focus of selling into Aerospace, Oil & Gas sector.We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support the UK Sales Manager to lead the charge from the front and drive their business forward within the UK & Ireland. You'll need to be based within mainland UK but willing to travel. the successful Sales Engineer will be given full autonomy to treat this like it's your own business as the Key Aim is to grow their UK market share with the full backing and support from Corporate HQ.You'll responsible for managing existing distributor partners whilst also selling into end users. SO, If you're wanting a role that you'll be treating as your own business then this could be the next move for you...I am keen to hear from individuals based within the UK mainland 'ONLY' and you're working in the following positions: Technical Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, UK Sales Manager, Head of Sales or General Managers with a technical sales background and strong knowledge of Metal Cutting.

Sales Engineer, Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

  • Experience of selling Cutting Tools, Tool Holding products
  • Previous experience from a Technical Sales, Sales & Applications, Business Development background is 'ESSENTIAL'.
  • Proven record of increasing sales and revenue
  • Achieve planned sales goals.
  • Industry experience with Metal Cutting is a 'MUST'
  • Use to extensive travel as this is a UK covering Role
  • Understanding of the market place, its competitors, and the opportunities within the industry sector.
  • A technical qualification (BEng, HNC/HND) or an engineering apprenticeship is essential.
