Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We're partnering with A fantastic and rewarding organisation to find a talented finance professional to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as their Finance department has recently undergone a restructure, creating new opportunities for process improvements and innovation.

The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and pension functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices - Verifying and entering invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Raising purchase orders - Creating and managing purchase orders with proper authorisation.
- Assisting with payments - Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries.
- Raising invoices - Generating and issuing accurate, timely invoices.
- Debt collection - Tracking overdue payments and following up with customers.
- Income accounting - Reconciling income and maintaining accurate records.
- Payroll processing - Running monthly payroll and handling adjustments.
- Expenses management - Processing and verifying employee expense claims.
- Pension administration - Managing contributions and assisting with queries.
- Financial support - Advising internal teams on payroll, pensions, and finance matters.
