We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school located in West Leicestershire. They are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to start in January.
This is a full-time and long-term position with the opportunity of going temp to Perm for the right candidate. To be successful, you will be a qualified English Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in art & design or related field
- Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
