About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16. You will plan and execute lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported in their learning journey. Your role will involve assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and working closely with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and effective mathematics curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to engage students and foster a love for mathematics.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student well-being and academic success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
