Position: PE Teacher Location: Leicestershire We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to work full-time. You will be teaching PE across KS3 and KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply. This is a long-term position to start in January or sooner.
Job Description:
- Delivering engaging and creative PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes a variety of physical activities and dance styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply
- Bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field
- Recent experience teaching PE at secondary school level
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
- Strong behaviour/classroom management
