Position: PE Teacher Location: Leicestershire We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to work full-time. You will be teaching PE across KS3 and KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply. This is a long-term position to start in January or sooner.

Job Description:

  • Delivering engaging and creative PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes a variety of physical activities and dance styles
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply
  • Bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field
  • Recent experience teaching PE at secondary school level
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
  • Strong behaviour/classroom management
