Are you a Teacher of Maths looking for a new challenge in Leicestershire?

An exciting opportunity has presented itself at a well-reputed and growing school in central Leicester. Aspire people are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Maths Teacher to join this schools team of specialists from the end of August 2024, long-term.

As a Full-time Maths Teacher working as part of this growing team you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons, supporting students in their problem-solving skills, providing individualised instruction, and preparing students for examinations. Equip students with the mathematical knowledge and skills necessary for future academic and career success.

The school is situated in central Leicester and their ambition is to offer the best provision possible in secondary education. The school is open to children from all backgrounds, religions, cultures and starting points. The school is creating a strong community with clear values. They take influence from cultures and ideas from across the globe and implement this into their values. The school welcomes NQT's to apply and will provide support and guidance where required.
As a full-time Maths teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:

Teach Maths to KS3 and KS4.
Have a passion for your specialism.
Have the highest aspirations for the schools' learners.
Be creative, organised and driven.
Assess, mark and plan lessons.
Assess achievements of pupils.
Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & dept meetings.
Be available from 8:30am - 15:30pm for each working day
