We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' college located in Leicestershire. They are seeking an enthusiastic and SEND Teacher to start as soon as possible.

This is a full-time and long-term position. To be successful you will be a qualified Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4 and have experience teaching Preparing for Adulthood and themes of Employability and Independent Living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Employability and Independent Living that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching themes related to Employability and Independent Living.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
