One of our well-respected secondary schools are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join their thriving PE department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to promoting sports, health, and well-being among students both inside and outside the curriculum. This will start as of Autumn 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality PE lessons, inspire students to engage in physical activity, and contribute to a school culture that values personal growth and achievement. They should demonstrate creativity, commitment, and a strong desire for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across various year groups.
- Foster a positive attitude toward physical activity and well-being among students.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school competitions.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Support students of all abilities, ensuring inclusive participation in physical education.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development opportunities.
