The school in Beaumont Leys offers pupils high quality teaching supported by a wide range of activities and opportunities from forest school to a specialised Speech and Language Unit. Your new roleIn your new job as a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting this Year 3/4 class alongside their teacher. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver small-group work and pre-planned work with the whole class as well as assessing and reporting on pupils' learning. You'll be an essential part of the school community - offering support to pupils in the classroom, break times and transition times.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job, you will have a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. You'll also have experience as a HLTA in a Key Stage 2 class - ideally you will have a strong phonics knowledge base, experience supporting SEN pupils and excellent classroom management skills.
