Hays Education is looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work on day-to-day, short term and long term assignments across in Leicester. Your new roleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation. From planning and delivering learning activities for individual pupils and groups to assessing and reporting on student progress - a HLTA provides essential classroom support. In this job, you will work closely with class teachers to support and assess pupils' learning.
What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll have a Level 4 HLTA qualification. You'll also have experience as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting - ideally having supported SEN pupils and a strong phonics knowledge base. Most importantly, you'll need to be energetic and dedicated to nurturing the next generation of learners.
