Aspire People are currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work in Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.Do you have a passion for building relationships quickly and working in small groups?Key responsibilities:*Assist the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment*Support the development and implementation of lesson plans, adapting activities to meet the needs of all students*Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their learning goals*Provide targeted support for small groups or 1:1 interventions, particularly for children struggling with mathematics or reading*Think on your feet to create engaging and relevant activities that complement the lesson and enhance student understanding*Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphereThe ideal candidate for this role would be a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant, with a passion and willing to support students no matter what they needRequirements:* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, at HLTA level * Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.* Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role are desirable but not essentialWhy Join Us?*Competitive salary based on experience.*Long-term contract with the option of extending or "as and when"*Developing social and cognitive development*Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence** Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service*Unlock up to £250 referral fee for each recommendation to Aspire PeopleIf you feel this position is for you, please apply above and I will be in touch.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
