Engineering @ 365 Ltd is currently working with a leading company in the special purpose machinery sector, recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to support their growing operations on a permanent basis.

Job Description:
Engineering @ 365 Ltd is partnering with a prominent provider of special purpose machinery, offering innovative solutions across various industries. They are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to carry out scheduled service and repair work on a nationwide and potentially international basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled service, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of special purpose machinery at client sites.
  • Ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on-site.
  • The role involves both mechanical and electrical based work so understanding pneumatic alongside the ability to work from circuit drawings is essential for this role.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork on time.
  • Assist with the development of service proposals and reports.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications within an engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in a field service role, ideally with special purpose machinery.
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
  • Understanding and experiences within CNC machinery servicing and Axil alignment of machinery.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
