A global leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Senior Production Planner. Candidates must have experience in production planning gained within a fast paced manufacturing environment and the position offers excellent career opportunities.

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

Maintain the production plan and ensure the plan is in line with customer requirements
Ensure all Vendor Management Inventory activities are completed
Releasing job ordered to the cells in line with ERP requirements, targets and batch size/quantity
Printing and collating job orders including drawings as required
Issuing parts to job orders as required
Controlling and expediting any given part number where necessary
Management and organisation of subcontract work against agreed targets
Utilising resource group plan and raising job orders were appropriate
Liaising with purchasing on material shortages
Review and update monthly production plans and analyse bottlenecks
Ensure all purchased finished items are delivered to plan
Support inventory facilitator when necessary
 

The Candidate

Proven experience in production planning, material planning and logistics coordinating
Strong working knowledge of Excel, ERP, capacity planning, inventory control and manufacturing operations
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with excellent organisational skills
Experience working in a fast paced production environment
