Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Our client is a leading food manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products across the UK and beyond. As part of their growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic maintenance team. Key Responsibilities: - Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. - Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of production lines. - Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and reliability. - Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing equipment. - Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with health and safety standards. - Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical components, such as sensors, motors, and control panels. - Liaise with production teams to ensure equipment operates at optimal efficiency. Requirements: - Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. - Knowledge of PLC fault finding, control systems, and automation. - Experience with single and three-phase electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. - A good understanding of health & safety regulations in an industrial setting. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
