Role Overview:Â We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Housing Support Workers to join our client's team in Leicester to pick up agency work. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them to maintain their tenancies and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to clients, assisting them with housing-related issues.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Liaise with landlords, local authorities, and other agencies to secure and maintain housing for clients.
- Offer guidance on budgeting, benefits, and accessing community resources.
- Conduct regular home visits to monitor and support clients' progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or related field.
- Strong understanding of housing and welfare benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
