Residential Support Worker

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 + Sleep in at £50 per night (equates £6000+ per year)

Based on an average of 2.5 - 3 shifts a week with 3 sleeps

Shift hours 9AM-10PM + Sleep

About the company

We are a small company with 2 adjoining homes that look after children with emotional, social and other associated difficulties. We do not have plans to grow an empire. We are a close-knit team who want to provide the highest quality of care for the small number of children we look after. We invest heavily in our care team to provide them with the skills and resources they need to provide the best quality care. We need people who understands that to our young people this is home.

Residential Support Worker Role:

Residential Support Worker Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive our company vehicles
  • Flexible and willing to work a residential care rota, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Available to work sleep in shifts on a rota basis

Qualifications

· Diploma Level 3 in children's workforce (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this qualification (Funded by us).

Requirements of the post

· Preferably a Level 3 Diploma Children’s Workforce in Residential Childcare or equivalent

· Experience with working with young people preferably in a residential home

· Experience of working with service users with low self-esteem and challenging behaviours

· Supporting staff with young people with complex needs, including health needs and interventions (including medication administration)

· Committed to the vision of working to the ethos and culture of Casaegis Ltd

· To work on a rota basis 365 days a year.

· Full driving licence (desirable).
