Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is seeking 2 Social Workers for its Cognitive & Physical Disability team, covering the Charnwood area (Loughborough etc.).
The pay rate is £34 umbrella.
You only need to work from the office once per week approx. (when on duty) but must be flexible to travel to the local area for visits when needed.

Details of the role:
- The team provides support for older people with eligible needs related to frailty and cognitive disabilities, arising from long term conditions such as Dementia, Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and Brain Injury, as well as adults over the age of 18 with physical disabilities.
- Undertaking Care Act assessments and support planning
- Undertaking Safeguarding investigations
- Dealing with complex situations with people and families
- Undertaking Mental capacity assessments
- Taking part in duty rota
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care, with experience of undertaking the above duties
- Must be able to travel to the Charnwood area of Leicestershire to undertake visits in the community
