Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its Children in Care team.
The pay rate is £38 umbrella.

Details of the role involve:
- Working with young people who have experienced trauma as children.
- The age range for the children we work with is around 5 to 18.
- The majority are older children.
- You have to be aspirational and understand the impact of Trauma as well as the regulations and laws relevant to working with children in care.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant experience working in statutory children’s social care, and ideally in a children in care setting
- You must have experience in working with young people who have experienced trauma as children.
- You must meet the DfE agency social work requirements, such as 3 years post-qualified working directly for a local authority
