Position: PHP Developer
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to 45,000
A rapidly growing pure play retailer who are seeking a mid-level backend PHP web developer to join a highly collaborative software development team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting their accelerated growth.
You should expect to be involved in the full software development lifecycle designing and developing new PHP web applications and enhancing existing applications. Maintenance and support of existing applications will also be expected. You will work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure the systems meet the business needs.
They are looking for a developer with strong technical skills and experience in PHP and MySQL, ideally using frameworks such as Zend, Laminas or Laravel.
Key Experience
- Strong PHP programming skills
- Experience in software development
- System architecture and design
- SQL knowledge
Any experience in the following is also beneficial:
- Cloud Computing, in particular AWS
- APIs and system integration
- JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
- Test automation
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. (30 minute lunch break)
Initial Period: Full-time in the office for the first 3 months.
Hybrid Approach: Following the initial period, a 50/50 hybrid work approach
