I'm currently recruiting for an innovative SaaS company that's been providing cutting-edge solutions to businesses across the UK. Their product is transforming the way companies operate, and as they continue to grow, they're looking for a talented PHP Developer to join their dynamic team of 8 experienced developers. Together, they are building and expanding a high-performance product that empowers businesses to improve efficiency and drive results.

Role Overview:

As a PHP Developer, you will be an integral part of the development team, working on the continued evolution of their SaaS product. You'll collaborate with fellow developers, product managers, and designers to design, implement, and improve features that are used by hundreds of companies across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to have a real impact on the product's success while advancing your career in a fast-growing tech company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain features for our SaaS product using PHP, Laravel, and other modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled developers to implement solutions and drive the evolution of the product.
  • Ensure the code is scalable, secure, and well-documented.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the technical design and architecture of new features.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices to continually improve development processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Solid understanding of SQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally a JavaScript framework like Vue.js or React).
  • Familiarity with Version Control (Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications in a SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Behat, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
