Purpose of the job:
Then senior developer will support and guide all development activities of the team, create high standards of best practice for the team to work to.
Main responsibilities
- Attend project meetings to scope development requirements and offer solution guidance to the development teams
- Create and work tickets to timelines with the development teams
- Actively demonstrate the SME skills of the toolset
- Work within the parameters set out by the solution lead and architects
- Work as part of a project team as and when required
- Create and maintain development documentation of solutions developed including version control s document
- work with the testing teams to make sure that the testing team understand the solution
- Define operational and support documentation
- Create weekly Project status reports
- Document integration toolsets, their capabilities, installed version, supported version dates, and key contacts, review and recommend alternatives that are more cost-effective or enable efficiency savings
