ServiceNow Developer (ITSM)

VIQUhave partnered with a leading retail provider who are seeking a passionate ServiceNow developer to join their HQ in Leicester.

The successful ServiceNow Developer will work to scope, implement, and test projects while ensuring proper communication and documentation. The ServiceNow Developer will develop and deploy platform changes, coordinate with third-party vendors, and handle regression testing during upgrades. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and reviews for junior team members and promoting best practices with Automated Test Framework (ATF) and design automation using integrations and platform tools.

Experience Required of the ServiceNow Developer (ITSM):

  • Proven experience in developing the ServiceNow platform.
  • Possess the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
  • Minimum of 4+ years prior experience in IT focused roles.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following: ITSM, Customer Service Management, Integrated Risk Management, Predictive Intelligence, Task Intelligence, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or NLU.
  • Experience in developing and customising Workspaces.
  • Strong knowledge of platform best practices, table structures, security (ACLs), and both client and server-side scripting, including script includes.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Glide classes, AJAX, and XML.
  • Skilled in-Service Portal development using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with system integration using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Effective communication skills across all business levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale platforms.
  • Experience with ITIL, incident and problem management.
  • Experience with IRM for issue and risk management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (desired)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification (desired)
