I have been retained to help my client, a family run business who have been trading for over 100 years find a skilled Software Developer to join them.

They are looking for a Developer with a strong background in C# and ASP.NET to enhance and expand their IT systems.

The role offers a mix of development tasks with occasional system administration responsibilities.

It would be an ideal role for those who thrive in a challenging environment, where you would be involved in many different projects.

Day-to-day duties of the Software Developer role include:

Collaborate with senior management to understand and develop new program requirements.
Research and implement technical solutions.
Write, test, and deploy effective code, including database setups.
Debug and troubleshoot program and code-related issues.
Respond to user issues and requirements, ensuring system security and data protection.
Occasionally manage and maintain IT operating systems in both Windows and Linux environments.
Provide technical support to staff by troubleshooting issues as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven commercial experience as a developer working in ASP.NET and C#.
Proficient background in ASP.NET CORE/MVC/WCF/Webforms.
Basic understanding of system administration tasks.
Degree or equivalent qualification in computer sciences would be nice to have
