£45,000-£55,000 DOE | Hybrid (2 Days/Week in Leicester)

I'm currently working with a fantastic company based in Leicester who are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their internal development team.

This isn't your average agency role or a project you'll hand off and never see again. It's a chance to work on a long-term, in-house project management system that's central to how the business operates every day. You'll play a key role in shaping, scaling, and improving a platform that's genuinely relied on by the team.

They're ideally looking for someone comfortable working across the stack - with PHP (Laravel or similar), React, and MySQL - and someone who enjoys solving practical problems with smart, clean code.

? The Role

Backend development using PHP
Frontend work with React and modern JavaScript
Database design and optimization with MySQL
Collaborating with internal teams to develop useful, usable features
Improving overall system performance and stability

?? What They're Looking For

Solid experience in PHP, React, and MySQL
A good understanding of full-stack development
Comfortable working in a collaborative, product-focused environment
Someone local (or nearby) - this is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in their Leicester office

Salary between £45,000 and £55,000, depending on experience
