Your new companyWorking for a well known and award winning Higher-education institute in Leicester.Your new roleYou will be working on an initial 2-year FTC on a new project to reimplement its Unit4 ERP finance system (previously known as Agresso). This is a huge project which will have a large impact across the organisation. working with the Corporate Systems Team to undertake assigned software development, business analysis, package implementation and user support tasks, according to agreed standards and guidelines, focussed on the Finance ERP.What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of developing software for corporate applications in an enterprise database development environment e.g., Oracle, SQL-Server, MySQL.
  • Having worked on analysing complex, large, corporate information systems, and business processes.
  • Web development using a Web Services approach, e.g., RESTful APIs and SOAP, JSON, and XML
  • Ability to estimate and prioritise work packages
  • Ability to work across multiple workstreams at the same time.
  • Ability to work to agreed technical standards and procedures.
  • Ability and eagerness to meet new objectives and learn new skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with IT and non-IT staff.
  • Degree with relevant IT content, or relevant professional IT qualification coupled with industry experience.
