Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a fresh challenge in education?
As a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with a range of challenges, including social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You'll work closely with a diverse group of learners, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and encouraging engagement through creative and innovative methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the teacher to deliver alternative, stimulating approaches for students with SEN needs, including ASD and ADHD.
- Set individualized targets for students and monitor their progress.
- Ensure each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Support students in resolving any challenges they face, fostering positive outcomes.

- Confident in working with children who display challenging behaviours.
- Possesses an outgoing, nurturing personality.
- Interested in starting or furthering a career in education.
- Committed to supporting SEMH learners.
- A reliable and approachable presence for both students and staff.
Essential Requirements:
- The right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or a willingness to apply for one.
- Two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
