This is an excellent opportunity for a recent or soon-to-be graduate who is passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.As a Primary SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of learning, social, or emotional needs, providing tailored support to ensure they thrive academically and personally. You will assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, offering one-on-one or small group support, and helping to create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.Assist with the delivery of tailored lesson plans, helping students engage with the curriculum.Support students with tasks that improve their academic and social development.Monitor and track student progress, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' needs.Work alongside the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement personalised strategies for students.Requirements:A Bachelor's degree (of any kind) - candidates must either be nearing completion of their degree or have already graduated.Ideally, experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs.A willingness to learn and adapt to the specific needs of the children in your care.What We Offer:Competitive daily rate of £90 - £100.Full-time role with an immediate start.A supportive team environment focused on personal and professional development.Opportunities to make a real impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.Potential for career progression within the SEN education field.How to Apply:If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN, please apply with your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
