Primary Teaching Assistant- SENLeicester£90 - £100 per day Contract: Full Time and Supply options availableLong Term Role Start date: ImmediateAspire People have partnered with a successful all through-SEN school based in Leicester who are seeking a Classroom Assistants to support their primary department with children aged 4-11 with SEN needs. The successful candidate will be a joining a warm, inclusive, and motivated team.The successful applicant will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to learners with additional learning needs including autism, adhd and semh and other forms of SEN. They will support the main teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials in order to assist with the promotion, help with reading, writing and helping children concentrate. The person we are looking for will have:* Experience that is appropriate to working with children in a learning environment* Has experience working with children in Schools or other childcare provisions* Will have worked with vulnerable individuals (children or adults)* An awareness of children/young person's development and learning* Excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people and their families and carers* The ability to implement behaviour management strategies, in line with the school's policy and procedures* Available Monday to Friday and can commit to 8:30am - 3:30pm school days* Candidate must have DBS on update service or be willing to take out a new oneFor this role, personality is key, you must be caring, supportive and willing to make a real difference!Contact Matt at to find out more!Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
