As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment tailored to the needs of each pupil. Responsible for delivering personalised lessons and interventions that enable pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that are adapted to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
Implementing strategies to reduce barriers to learning and promote independence.
Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, and other additional needs to develop confidence, resilience, and life skills.
Collaborating with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to education.
Using a range of behaviour management techniques to foster a calm and focused learning environment.
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, ensuring personalised targets are achieved.
