With a strong focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing, it continues to grow its loyal customer base.Role Purpose:In this role, you will lead procurement across all utilities (electricity, gas, water & effluent, diesel) and oversee energy and carbon reduction initiatives, including the renewable energy sourcing strategy and the Group Decarbonisation Roadmap. Selecting and managing the energy consultancy supporting procurement efforts.Providing regular utilities reporting and insights to the procurement team and wider business, while supporting customer-related inflation recovery work, including utilities cost modelling. Serving as one of two procurement leads for Capex, delivering support to maximise value, minimise risk, and advance energy reduction and decarbonisation projects.This is a stand-alone position. No direct reports.Key Responsibilities:* Sourcing Strategy & Risk Management: Develop sourcing strategies for energy and decarbonisation, assess and manage supplier, credit, and regulatory risks, and forecast future price and legislative impacts.* Energy Risk Management: Build and maintain a dynamic energy risk management strategy covering commodity, regulatory, supply, and decarbonisation risks through 2040.* Tendering & Contracting: Lead tendering and contracting for energy supply, including Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and renewable energy contracts, ensuring risk and responsible business requirements are met.* Energy Consultancy Management: Manage TPI partners to deliver high-quality services, provide accurate reporting and insights, and ensure timely market intelligence to support decision-making.* CAPEX Procurement & Decarbonisation: Lead procurement for energy reduction and decarbonisation projects, develop PSLs for energy and carbon-related projects and represent procurement in the Carbon Forum.* Strategic & Budget Planning: Develop long- and short-term strategic plans, provide accurate financial forecasts, and collaborate with procurement managers to ensure effective implementation and risk management.Requirements:* Strong Utilities sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management experience across multi-site portfolios (essential)* Strong negotiation skills (essential)* Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives (essential)* Strong drive to deliver results and build relations at all levels (essential)* Background from multi-site FMCG (essential)How to Apply:Please send your CV to or contact me on LinkedIn.
