My FMCG manufacturing client are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to oversee, coordinate, and improve the company's supply chain processes and team. The successful candidate will have expertise in supply chain management within the FMCG industry (ideally food manufacturing)

Description
- Oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain planning operations
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast product demand and manage inventory
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards Ensuring compliance with IFS standards
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop and manage budgets in the supply chain department
- Implement new technologies to drive supply chain efficiency and performance
Profile
The successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within supply chain and FMCG manufacturing
- Degree education preferred
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP and Excel (SAP also advantageous)
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
