Supply Chain Shift Planner 

Location: Glenfield and BarrowSalary: up to £38,000 per annumRota structure: 

  • 4 on 3 off shift pattern (Sunday–Wednesday) or (Wednesday–Saturday)
  • Week 1 - 7am -5pm
  • Week 2 – 10am -8pm

Join an innovative, growth-focused company supplying major retailers in the foodservice industry. As a Supply Chain Shift Planner, you’ll play a vital role in the supply chain department, acting as the central communication hub between suppliers, production, hauliers, and other key stakeholders. This position requires a skilled communicator with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and communicate effective production plans to optimise sales and minimise costs.
  • Update production schedules based on customer orders and coordinate with third parties.
  • Manage flour purchasing and transport logistics to ensure materials and deliveries align with production needs.
  • Work with hauliers and suppliers to streamline logistics and reduce costs.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years in a production planning or similar supply chain role.
  • Strong communication skills and calm under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in supply chain systems and Excel; knowledge of Sage 200 is a plus.
