About the Role:

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Whetstone, producing high-end yarns for premium brands. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and supervise the slitting machine, ensuring continuous production.
Monitor material wheels and stop the machine when a wheel runs out.
Safely and efficiently attach new materials by gluing them to the previous roll.
Maintain high-quality production standards.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Essential:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable transport to Whetstone (no public transport available).
Preferred:
- Previous experience in machine operating or manufacturing.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00
Friday: 07:00 - 14:00
39-hour working week
