Pure Permanent Recruitment are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Assistant for a client based in Leicester.
This is a full time, permanent job role.
Work location: LE6, Leicester
Working hours: Monday Friday 9am 17:30pm
Annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
The ideal Travel Operations Assistant will be an experienced travel professional with a keen interest in motor sport. Our client is a leading travel specialist, in their field. They offer packages and tailor-made itineraries to events worldwide.
As well as travel itineraries, they also book race tickets and hospitality packages.
The successful Travel Operations Assistant will be working within the Operations department:
Key responsibilities of Travel Operations Assistant:
Hotels
- Preparing rooming lists, ensuring accurate dates are placed in diaries for room allocations, release dates and payments.
- Request and check all invoices are correct and pass through to accounts to pay.
- Customer Documents
- Prepare itineraries and customer documentation for each event.
- Send Links for :- - flight tickets/boarding passes - train tickets - race tickets - general info - circuit map - race timetable - city map/ subway map
Flights Book
- Amadeus flights
- Daily Queue Group Flights Complete and submit flight manifests if required Seat allocations If required
- Create cost sheets for tours
- Check supplier rates and commission levels
- Provide lists for Circuit Transfers, Airport Transfers Race tickets Check ticket log allocations
- Allocate race tickets
- Update prices during the different sale periods
Website
- Working along side our digital people :- Update prices and event information
- Change ticket prices
- Update sold out/limited availability tickets/packages etc
- Couriers Process detailed itineraries for each courier.
- Assist sales with telephone calls/quote overflow
