Third Line Infrastructure Engineer - £56,000 - £63,000 – Leicestershire/Hybrid
VIQU have partnered with a well known international company who are looking to a hire a third line infrastructure engineer to join their security team. This role will involve the development and support of new and existing infrastructure systems. Systems include Data Centres, Networking, On-prem and virtual servers, desktops and cloud.
As a third line infrastructure engineer you will be responsible for the remediation of vulnerabilities identified by security tools, the design and completion of infrastructure focused projects, suggestion of improvements to the infrastructure and the maintenance of up-to-date documentation.
The systems are a mix of on premises and cloud/virtual so the ideal candidate will have experience in both environments.
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on site every 2/3 days in Leicestershire.
Experience required for the Third Line Infrastructure engineer:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with maintaining and implementing windows server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with Microsoft SCCM
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Use of data centre monitoring tools (System Centre Operations Manager/SCOM)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Managing devices using MDM software
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft Hyper-V clusters
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Automation experience using PowerShell
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â SQL server experience
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong cloud-based experience (Azure)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A valid driving licence and willingness to work on an on call rota
