Functional Skills Tutor

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Functional Skills Tutor in a SEMH setting in leicester, starting ASAP and lasting until at least July 2025. Ideally the applicant will be looking for a permanent job, as the school would like to take someone on a temporary to permanent deal.

This role will involve teaching Functional Skills to Level 2 and Entry Level students. The college does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching Functional Skills or other Maths disciplines to Key Stage 3
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
