Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create seamless user experiences.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical oversight and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Develop scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Optimise web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is leveraging the best tools and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms and browsers.
Requirements:
- An individual with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Proven experience leading development teams or projects.
- Expert proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong back-end development skills using languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile-first design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics.
