We are hiring for a Jig Welder to undertake welding work in Leicester. This is a fast-paced environment where repetitive yet crucial tasks are carried out daily. You will be an important part of the production process, ensuring the quality and precision of welding work using jigs. The workspace is modern with excellent facilities, making for a pleasant working atmosphere.

Weekly pay, paid on Thursday with the pay rate dependent on a successful weld test.


Duties of a Jig Welder


You will be working as part of the Manufacturing/Production team and will be responsible for:

  • Operating welding jigs to ensure high-quality welds
  • Performing repetitive welding tasks with precision
  • Inspecting and maintaining welding equipment
  • Ensuring production deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment


Skills and experience of a Jig Welder

As a Jig Welder, you need to have experience with:

  • MIG welding
  • Using jigs for welding and fabrication


It would be beneficial to the Jig Welder role if you also had:

  • Good communication skills, especially in written and verbal English
  • Access to reliable transport, as the clients site is easily accessible by car, public transport, walking, or cycling
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
