Location: Thurmaston, Leicester
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30 | Friday: 07:30 – 12:00
Overtime: Available at x1.5 hourly rate

Our client, a specialist in metal pressing, precision toolmaking, and other metalworking services based in Leicester, is looking to expand their team due to increased workloads. They are recruiting for a TIG/MIG Welder Fabricator with the opportunity for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:- TIG and MIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting welding and fabrication drawings
- Marking out, sawing, drilling, shearing, and fettling
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed
- Assisting with other tasks as requested by management
- Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding (mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium)
- Experience in metal fabrication
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Experience programming robotic welding cells
- Experience in laser welding
- Annual Leave: 20 days + Bank holidays + Christmas holidays

- Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (07:30 – 16:30) and Friday (07:30 – 12:00)
- Overtime: Available at x1.5 hourly rate
