Kenect Recruitment are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our longstanding client based in Leicester, in the engineer industry.
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Shift times: Day shifts
Pay rate: up to 18ph
Duties
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and drawings.
- Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform welding tasks.
- Utilise sheet metal and other materials effectively in fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, making necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
