The Company:

Our client is an established Manufacturer of Point of Sale, Furniture and Fixtures providing high end products to some huge companies.

The MIG Welder/Fabricator Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Welder (MIG) to join a company based in Leicester, the client manufactures products for the point of sale industry.

Weld sub assembles and main assembles
Set machine to achieve all weld requirements in line with specification and coding
Weld parts to a specific time frame adhering to business plan
Follow all company H&S processed and procedures, including environmental policies.
Other responsibilities assigned by direct management

The Candidate:

Extensive MIG welding skills and experience
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience working with mild steel (thickness ranging from 1mm - 20mm)
Follow all company H&S processed and procedures, including environmental policies.
Use of hand and power tools
Personal qualities to include, good time keeping, communication skills, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive!
