All applicants must have extensive knowledge of* the industry.* The company's goal is to manufacture to a high degree of accuracy, assemblies & structures detailed in Fabrication drawings. Combining both Plating & welding experience to achieve required end result.Position Summary* Welder Fabricators required for the manufacture of new structural and architectural steelwork using mild and stainless steel. You will be responsible for the safe operation of machinery during the fabrication process in order to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues. * As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be heavily involved with the general daily operations while fabrication metalwork including marking out for cutting, shaping and drilling on various materials. * You will be involved with the quality checking of work completed by other operatives.* You must be able to understand and interpret drawings, including all weld symbols on said drawings.Ideal CandidateA diligent professional able to work well as an individual or in a team. * Able to work as part of a team* Be physically fit* Have a sound knowledge of correct working and safety practices* Good concentration skills & Possess good numeric skills* To be accurate and pay attention to detail* Must be punctual and conscientious* MUST have MIG welding and fabrication experience* TIG welding experience is desirable PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
