About Us: Reed are working with a well-established accountancy practice based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Semi Senior or Audit Senior to join their team. This practice is committed to delivering high-quality audit services and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Plan and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Prepare audit reports and financial statements.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
- Assist in the development and training of junior audit staff.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with other departments within the practice to ensure seamless audit operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in audit software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred).
