Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance on generators and related systems
- Troubleshoot and repair generator issues
- Install, test and commission new generators and related equipment
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory levels
- Work collaboratively with team members as needed
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency repairs
- Monitor the performance of the generators and recommend improvements and upgrades
- Colleage qualification
- Completion of a technical program in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
- Experience working on generators
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
