Reed Engineering are currently looking for an experienced Team Supervisor, for the Disassembly and Cleaning of Aviation Components for a bespoke Aviation Service and Manufacturing company based in Basildon Essex.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are not limited to:

Operational Supervision

Manage day-to-day operations of the cleaning bay, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient use of resources.

Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of aerospace components, tools, and equipment according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.

Monitor adherence to established cleaning and decontamination processes, ensuring compliance with standards and certifications.

Lead, and supervise a team of cleaning technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and industry updates.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or maintenance environment, preferably in the aerospace or a highly regulated industry.

Excellent leadership and team management skills. · Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques used in the aerospace industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH and MSDS requirements.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

5 years of relevant/technical work experience and 3+ years of leadership experience. Alternatively, 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.

Hands-on experience with advanced cleaning technologies such as ultrasonic or vapor degreasing systems.
