Requirements

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (registered on the update service)
  • At least 3 months of teaching experience in the UK
  • Experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Proven success in teaching classes in an 11-16 school
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students

Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths up to KS4 (GCSE)
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' needs
  • Provide appropriate levels of challenge to ensure effective learning
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with school policies
  • Commit to raising student achievement
  • Apply various classroom management strategies to maintain discipline
  • Help students apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations
